For most of the developing world, education is a luxury, not a right. That’s because education is something you have to pay for and is very expensive. There are no government funded schools. Furthermore your books, pencils, uniforms and meals are all additional expenses. For families that are struggling, the choice is between spending money for school when there isn’t even food, or putting the child to work. You can make a difference. Education and literacy unlocks so many doors and can change a person’s entire trajectory. When you give to the education fund we donate directly to families in Kenya, Ghana, Haiti, the US, Tanzania and more who can’t afford to pay their school fees.
